Andrea was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in April. The oncology team at San Francisco University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Andrea is 32, worked as a farmer until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Francisco University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $9,350 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $400 • Scans and lab work: $1,700 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Paula
