Andi needs a prosthetic leg - help us make it happen
Andi needs a prosthetic leg that the health system won't fund; the cost is $100.
🇮🇩 Indonesia400 views
Andi lives with a rare neuromuscular condition. The occupational therapist at Bogor General Hospital has assessed him and recommended a prosthetic leg. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $100.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Andi could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $100 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $35
• Delivery and set-up: $20
• First-year servicing plan: $45
With deep gratitude,
Pandu

sending good thoughts. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Wish I lived closer to Newport so I could bring a meal.
