Ana was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at Bucaramanga Regional Medical Center recommended laparoscopic endometriosis surgery, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,800, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $1,450 short. my mother has been in and out of Bucaramanga Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without laparoscopic endometriosis surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,800 is more than we can find. While we wait, Ana struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there. Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks.
