Ana needs a soldering station and testing tools to reopen a phone repair counter
A phone repair counter in Petrópolis needs help replacing a soldering station and testing tools after a storm that collapsed the roof.

For twelve years I have run a phone repair counter in Petrópolis. In December, a storm that collapsed the roof took a soldering station and testing tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Tuesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $850 goes:
• Shop repairs and licensing: $75
• Replacing a soldering station and testing tools: $600
• Initial stock: replacement parts: $175
Thanks for being kind about this.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Ana.
Sure. The biggest one is shop repairs and licensing, $75. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Good question.
Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't give up. Love from Coimbatore.
So sorry you're going through this, Ana. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. All the best.
