Could you drive Ana to the San Diego Dialysis Unit on Monday? A rota of 4 drivers is forming.

Ana has been on dialysis for 5 years and until recently drove to the San Diego Dialysis Unit alone. After surgery on their hand, Ana can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week. We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 29 km each way. Ana is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food. Please say which day works for you in the comments. I hope life is good to you.

Thanks for sharing this. Get well soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected!

        • Praying for you, Cristina. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Greetings from Manila.
