Riverside
I live with low vision from retinitis pigmentosa. My occupational therapist at Riverside General Hospital has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850. My current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 3 weeks. With the right equipment I could join the school sports day. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $850 goes: • First-year servicing plan: $400 • Fitting and training sessions: $230 • Delivery and set-up: $220 Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Zoe

  1. We're at 7% thanks to 4 of you. the plan for first-year servicing plan is now scheduled. More news soon.

  2. Thank you all. We're at 4% now ($36). I'm honestly stunned. the plan for fitting and training sessions is now scheduled.

  3. Quick update: $36 raised so far (4%). I made the first payment toward first-year servicing plan. Receipts coming as soon as I have them. - Zoe
