Yodit lives with muscular dystrophy. The occupational therapist at the Mekelle Rehabilitation Centre has assessed her and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $850. Her current equipment is 13 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined her to home for 4 weeks. With the right equipment Yodit could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family. We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest. Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing. Where the $850 goes: • adapted tricycle: $750 • Fitting and training sessions: $35 • Delivery and set-up: $25 • First-year servicing plan: $40 Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot. - Leul
