An adapted tricycle for Micah: help Micah move freely
Help Micah get an adapted tricycle so He can attend work interviews.
🇺🇸 United States750 views
Micah lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Oakland Mobility Clinic has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $7,800.
His current equipment is 9 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Micah could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $7,800 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $7,500
• First-year servicing plan: $185
• Delivery and set-up: $115

stay strong, Angela. Shared it with a few friends. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Málaga.
