An adapted tricycle for Mahesh: help Mahesh move freely
An adapted tricycle would give Mahesh independence - we're $150 away.
🇮🇳 India738 views
Mahesh lives with multiple sclerosis. The occupational therapist at the Muzaffarpur Rehabilitation Centre has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $150.
His current equipment is 10 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment Mahesh could attend work interviews. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
I'll pay the supplier directly from the funds, and I'll post a photo once the equipment is delivered.
Where the $150 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• Delivery and set-up: $30
• Fitting and training sessions: $65
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
