An adapted tricycle for Florence: help me move freely
An adapted tricycle would give Florence independence - we're $1,100 away.

I live with muscular dystrophy. My occupational therapist at the Dar es Salaam Mobility Clinic has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $1,100.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 6 weeks.
With the right equipment I could go outside without waiting for someone to push. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• adapted tricycle: $990
• Fitting and training sessions: $45
• Delivery and set-up: $25
• First-year servicing plan: $40
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
