An adapted tricycle for Arnel: help Arnel move freely
An adapted tricycle would give Arnel independence - we're $400 away.
🇵🇭 Metro Manila, Philippines1,754 views
Arnel lives with a spinal cord injury. The occupational therapist at Manila General Hospital has assessed him and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $400.
His current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined him to home for 12 weeks.
With the right equipment Arnel could go to school independently. It would change everyday life for the whole family.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $400 goes:
• First-year servicing plan: $25
• adapted tricycle: $360
• Delivery and set-up: $15
