An adapted tricycle for Ananya: help me move freely
Ananya needs an adapted tricycle that the health system won't fund; the cost is $450.

I live with profound hearing loss. My occupational therapist at the Pune Rehabilitation Centre has assessed me and recommended an adapted tricycle. The public scheme doesn't cover it, and the quote from the supplier is $450.
My current equipment is 14 years old and keeps breaking, which has confined me to home for 5 weeks.
With the right equipment I could speak with the people around her. It would change my everyday life and my ability to work from home.
We've applied to two charities already and received small contributions; this campaign covers the rest.
Funds go toward the equipment, delivery, fitting and a year of servicing.
Where the $450 goes:
• Fitting and training sessions: $50
• First-year servicing plan: $55
• adapted tricycle: $345
Thanks for reading all this.
