Amelia's ACL reconstruction can't wait - please help us cover the bill
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in August is out of reach without help covering $3,600 of the cost.

Amelia was diagnosed with a hip fracture that never healed properly in May. The surgeon at Los Angeles Regional Medical Center recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for August. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $6,000, and after what my insurance will pay we're still $3,600 short.
my mother has been in and out of Los Angeles Regional Medical Center since May. The doctors say a hip fracture that never healed properly will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $6,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Amelia struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Amelia won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
