Amber's thyroid cancer treatment fund

Amber was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in July. The oncology team at Sacramento Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. She will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Amber is 28, worked as a tailor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Sacramento Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
