Amber needs three industrial sewing machines to reopen a tailoring shop
Amber has run a tailoring shop for fifteen years; a storm that collapsed the roof destroyed the equipment, and $3,500 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a tailoring shop in San Diego. In June, a storm that collapsed the roof took three industrial sewing machines. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Monday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 8 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
Once I'm back on my feet I plan to hire back the people I had to let go.
Where the $3,500 goes:
• Replacing three industrial sewing machines: $2,550
• Initial stock: fabric and thread: $700
• Shop repairs and licensing: $250
Thank you so much.

Sending strength. I hope things turn around soon. Wish I lived closer to Faisalabad so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Wishing you peace, Amber. Small businesses are the heart of San Diego. Hope you're open again soon. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry.
keep going. Hope this works out for you. Please keep us posted
