Amanuel's school year: uniform, books and a laptop
Amanuel earned a place in Grade 9 at Addis Ababa Boys' High School; we're $110 short on required supplies.

I earned a place in Grade 9 at Addis Ababa Boys' High School, and I couldn't be prouder. The school has a long list of things I need, including a laptop for the graphic design course, and a uniform.
My mother works two jobs, and the list costs $110, which is more than we have.
I love graphic design and want to become a nurse. A laptop will let me do coursework at home instead of waiting for library hours.
I'll take care of everything you give me and I promise to work hard.
Items on the list: laptop, uniform, shoes, textbooks, calculator and a bag.
Where the $110 goes:
• Laptop: $50
• School uniform and shoes: $35
• Textbooks and workbooks: $20
• Calculator, stationery and a school bag: $5
Thanks for being kind about this.

Is there anything that isn't money that would help Amanuel?
This could happen to any of us. Sent it to 30 people at work. Thinking of Addis Ababa
Good luck, Amanuel. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend.
