Alice's palate reconstruction surgery can't wait - please help us cover the bill
After a benign brain tumor, Alice was cleared for palate reconstruction surgery, but the bill is more than we can manage.

Alice was diagnosed with a benign brain tumor in August. The surgeon at San Diego Regional Medical Center recommended palate reconstruction surgery, and She is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,700, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $2,950 short.
my sister has been in and out of San Diego Regional Medical Center since August. The doctors say a benign brain tumor will get worse without palate reconstruction surgery. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,700 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Alice struggles with daily life and can't lift anything heavy. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 8 weeks. During that time Alice won't be able to lift anything heavy, so the costs keep growing.
