Akinyi served ten years; now needs help to get home
A navy veteran in Mombasa needs help with a first month of rent and transport to job interviews after leaving service with post-traumatic stress.

Brian served ten years in the navy and was discharged in 2024 with post-traumatic stress. He has been waiting seven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote comes to $750.
Brian is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $750 goes:
• Training provider fees: $390
• Housing deposit and first month: $280
• Transport to appointments: $80
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Sending good thoughts. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Nagpur donated after I showed her your page. Take care.
