Agnès's final semester of a teaching qualification in Boulogne-Billancourt
A first-generation student, Agnès needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a teaching qualification.
🇫🇷 France2,499 views
Agnès is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a teaching qualification at Boulogne-Billancourt Polytechnic, and is one semester away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $4,800.
The registrar has said Agnès can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Agnès has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Agnès would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Agnès isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $185
• Outstanding tuition balance: $1,900
• Final term tuition: $2,715
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.
