Afshan's thyroid cancer treatment fund
Afshan is facing thyroid cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Afshan was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in December. The oncology team at the Multan Oncology Institute has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in February. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Afshan is 41, worked as a bus conductor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Multan Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $580
• Scans and lab work: $115
• Transport to the Multan Oncology Institute: $155
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $100
• Household costs while unable to work: $250
