I make my living with my pickup. 5 weeks ago the transmission failed, and the mechanic says the repair will cost $450. Without the vehicle I earn nothing.
I have been borrowing from friends to pay rent, and now I have run out of people to ask.
I support my wife and our newborn. Before the breakdown I worked eleven hours a day, six days a week. I have been offered extra shifts for the next four months if I can just get the vehicle working.
I have a written estimate from a certified mechanic and will upload it here.
All money will go toward the parts and labor on the estimate, with a small amount for road tax and insurance renewal.
Where the $450 goes:
• Towing and inspection: $30
• transmission replacement (parts): $380
• Road tax and insurance renewal: $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

sending strength, Adriana. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Take care.
Best of luck. I hope things turn around soon. I have a 14 year old who wants to send good wishes too
Good luck. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Thinking of Monterrey.
Sending good thoughts, Adriana. This could happen to any of us. My husband and I read this together.
Sending strength, Adriana. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double
Best of luck, Adriana. Looking forward to the next update. We're a small family in Kisumu but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Monterrey.
Take care. I'd happily buy from you once you're back up. Sent it to 36 people at work
