Adrián's laparoscopic cyst removal can't wait - please help us cover the bill
Adrián needs laparoscopic cyst removal at Mexicali Community Hospital and the family is $2,450 short of the hospital's estimate.

Adrián was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal in August. The surgeon at Mexicali Community Hospital recommended laparoscopic cyst removal, and He is scheduled for November. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $4,900, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,450 short.
my son has been in and out of Mexicali Community Hospital since August. The doctors say a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without laparoscopic cyst removal. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $4,900 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Adrián struggles with daily life and can't drive. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
The recovery period is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Adrián won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
I'll pay the hospital and pharmacy directly and post every receipt in the updates section.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $1,350
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $900
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $200
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.
