Adrian's cervical cancer treatment fund
Adrian is facing cervical cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.
🇺🇸 United States416 views
Adrian was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August. The oncology team at Louisville Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 10 weeks.
Adrian is 28, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Louisville Regional Medical Center 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,200
• Household costs while unable to work: $920
• Transport to Louisville Regional Medical Center: $1,230
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Hang in there, Clara. Shared it with a few friends. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
Hope things get better soon, Clara. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Love from Juiz de Fora.
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My neighbor had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Nairobi.
