I served ten years in the navy and was discharged in 2025 with a traumatic brain injury. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place. I have a plan: a first month of rent and transport to job interviews. The quote I have comes to $2,350. I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces. I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing. Money will be paid to the training provider and the landlord directly. Where the $2,350 goes: • Housing deposit and first month: $1,650 • Transport to appointments: $250 • Essential household items: $450 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

praying for you, Adam. Looking forward to the next update. I went through something like this 3 years ago and strangers helped me out.
