Adalynn was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in December. The oncology team at London University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in April. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks. Adalynn is 37, worked as a farmer until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to London University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $8,000 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,950 • Scans and lab work: $910 • Transport to London University Hospital: $590 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $380 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,170 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself. - Robert
