ACL reconstruction for Peyton: covering what insurance won't

Peyton was diagnosed with endometriosis requiring surgery in August. The surgeon at Saint Joseph Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for October. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $7,000, and after what the government subsidy will pay we're still $4,950 short.
my wife has been in and out of Saint Joseph Hospital since August. The doctors say endometriosis requiring surgery will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $7,000 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Peyton struggles with daily life and can't drive. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Rehabilitation is expected to take about 7 weeks. During that time Peyton won't be able to drive, so the costs keep growing.
