ACL reconstruction for Jade: covering what insurance won't
A scheduled ACL reconstruction in July is out of reach without help covering $2,750 of the cost.

Jade was diagnosed with a herniated spinal disc in March. The surgeon at Allentown Community Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and She is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $3,450, and after what my employer's plan will pay we're still $2,750 short.
my daughter has been in and out of Allentown Community Hospital since March. The doctors say a herniated spinal disc will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $3,450 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Jade struggles with daily life and can't climb stairs. Her family has taken turns caring for her, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Jade won't be able to climb stairs, so the costs keep growing.
