Acacia Primary School needs a solar-powered water pump - Cesar's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a solar-powered water pump - we need $500 for materials.
🇵🇭 Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines1,613 views
For three years the neighborhood has asked for a solar-powered water pump. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including a group of teenagers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated volunteer hours worth about $220, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 230 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $350
• Permits and inspections: $45
• Safety equipment and signage: $55
• Tools hire and delivery: $50

Thinking of you and your family. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Greetings from Móstoles.
Sending love. Shared this with my family. My neighbor in Bangkok donated after I showed her your page.
