Acacia Primary School needs a rainwater harvesting system - Nam's neighborhood project
A community-led a rainwater harvesting system at Acacia Primary School that will serve 336 neighbors.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a rainwater harvesting system. This year a group of 22 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated tools, and the remaining cost is $550.
It will serve about 336 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $550 goes:
• Safety equipment and signage: $35
• Materials: $480
• Permits and inspections: $35
