We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a covered market stall space - we need $250 for materials.

Agra
For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a covered market stall space. This year a group of 15 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Primary School, but no funding. We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $250. It will serve about 482 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited. We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos. Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered. Where the $250 goes: • Materials: $125 • Permits and inspections: $25 • Tools hire and delivery: $100 Thanks for being kind about this.

Updates from Janani

  1. Update from Agra: we've started the first stage. We're at 10% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. Wanted to say thank you properly. 15% funded and I made the first payment toward permits and inspections. - Janani
