Acacia Park needs a playground - Tunde's neighborhood project
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a playground - we need $500 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a playground. This year a group of 12 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Acacia Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $500.
It will serve about 453 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $500 goes:
• Materials: $350
• Permits and inspections: $35
• Safety equipment and signage: $70
• Tools hire and delivery: $45
