Abbottabad heatwave relief - the Northside neighborhood
Neighbors in the Northside neighborhood are rebuilding after the heatwave; every contribution goes to materials and supplies.

The heatwave hit the Northside neighborhood on 31 July. My home was one of 54 damaged, and 5 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
Funds go to building materials, water purification supplies, bedding, and food for families still in shelters.
Where the $650 goes:
• Clean water and purification supplies: $150
• Tools and labor for repairs: $300
• Food parcels for displaced families: $200
Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Adnan.
It's all in the list in the story. clean water and purification supplies is the big one at $150, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Happy to explain more.
more neighborhoods should do this. Love from Butwal
Sending strength, Adnan. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier!
