Aarav's colon cancer treatment fund
Supporting Aarav through colon cancer: medication, transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre, and living costs while He can't work.
🇮🇳 Dwarka, Delhi, India46 views
In August I was diagnosed with colon cancer. My oncology team at Dwarka Cancer Centre has planned 6 rounds of treatment, and the first starts in October. I was told to expect about 5 weeks away from work.
I never imagined I'd be writing something like this. I'm 45, I worked as a cleaner at a hospital until August, and I have been the main earner for my household.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre 2 times a week, and the income I have lost add up quickly.
My family is doing everything they can, but we've already sold what we could and are borrowing for groceries.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,600 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,050
• Scans and lab work: $85
• Transport to Dwarka Cancer Centre: $105
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $75
• Household costs while unable to work: $285
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.
