A youth football pitch for the old Baobab bus depot: help our neighbors in Dallas
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $2,850 for materials.

For five years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 10 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the old Baobab bus depot, but no funding.
We have received donated soil and plants, and the remaining cost is $2,850.
It will serve about 355 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in December and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $190
• Materials: $2,550
• Safety equipment and signage: $110
