A youth football pitch for the Cedar health centre yard: help our neighbors in Cleveland
A community-led a youth football pitch at the Cedar health centre yard that will serve 231 neighbors.

For three years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 28 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Cedar health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $3,400.
It will serve about 231 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in November and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $280
• Safety equipment and signage: $420
• Materials: $2,700

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. permits and inspections comes first ($280) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
