A youth football pitch for the Acacia health centre yard: help our neighbors in Riyadh
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $600 for materials.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 11 volunteers, including a retired civil engineer, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Acacia health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated timber, and the remaining cost is $600.
It will serve about 150 people, including young people who have nowhere safe to play. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
All purchases will be made by two volunteers and logged publicly. Surplus funds will go to maintenance.
Where the $600 goes:
• Permits and inspections: $195
• Tools hire and delivery: $185
• Safety equipment and signage: $220
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.
