A youth football pitch for Harmony Primary School: help our neighbors in Mérida
Volunteers in Mérida are raising $1,050 for a youth football pitch at Harmony Primary School.

For eight years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 8 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Primary School, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $1,050.
It will serve about 596 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in September and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.

• Safety equipment and signage: $135
