A youth football pitch for Harmony Park: help our neighbors in Springfield
Volunteers in Springfield are raising $2,250 for a youth football pitch at Harmony Park.

For ten years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 30 volunteers, including local mothers, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for Harmony Park, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $2,250.
It will serve about 471 people, including elderly neighbors living alone. We'll hold a build day in October and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $2,250 goes:
• Tools hire and delivery: $490
• Materials: $1,400
• Safety equipment and signage: $360
