A youth football pitch: a volunteer-led effort in Entebbe
We have the land, the volunteers and the plan for a youth football pitch - we need $300 for materials.

For twelve years the neighborhood has asked for a youth football pitch. This year a group of 26 volunteers, including the neighborhood football club, decided to stop waiting. The council has given permission for the Lotus health centre yard, but no funding.
We have received donated paint, and the remaining cost is $300.
It will serve about 417 people, including school children and their families. We'll hold a build day in April and everyone is invited.
We're a small team, and every dollar will be spent in the open - I'll post receipts and progress photos.
Funds are spent only on materials, permits and safety equipment; all labor is volunteered.
Where the $300 goes:
• Materials: $145
• Permits and inspections: $40
• Safety equipment and signage: $30
• Tools hire and delivery: $85
