I'm writing for my neighbor Zhe, who's 79. Zhe lives alone in Fort Worth, and lost a son last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away.
Zhe loves old films, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.

Stay strong, Peng. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
