A weekly visit for Sofía, 89, who lives alone in Madrid

I'm writing for my neighbor Sofía, who's 89. Sofía lives alone in Madrid, and lost a lifelong friend last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Sofía loves crossword puzzles, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Thanks for being kind about this.
