A weekly visit for Mohammad, 91, who lives alone in Pune
An hour a week, a chat, and a cup of tea - that is all Mohammad is asking for.

I'm writing for my neighbor Mohammad, who's 91. Mohammad lives alone in Pune, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives 291 kilometers away.
Mohammad loves knitting, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Wednesday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
