A weekly visit for Mihaela, 82, who lives alone in Cluj-Napoca

I'm writing for my neighbor Mihaela, who's 82. Mihaela lives alone in Cluj-Napoca, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives several hours away. Mihaela loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.
