A weekly visit for Dwi, 89, who lives alone in Kediri
Dwi lives alone and has no family nearby; a weekly hour of conversation would transform the week.

I'm writing for my neighbor Dwi, who's 89. Dwi lives alone in Kediri, and lost a spouse of many years last year. The nearest family lives on the other side of the country.
Dwi loves local history, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Saturday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person.
All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity.
No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience.
If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people.

thinking of you and your family, Utami. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Love from Mapo.
take care. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My neighbor in London donated after I showed her your page. Blessings.
you're not alone, Utami. I hope things turn around soon. Don't give up. All the best.
Sending love, Utami. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest.
So sorry you're going through this, Utami. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. All the best.
