A weekly visit for Aadhya, 72, who lives alone in Mumbai

I'm writing for my neighbor Aadhya, who's 72. Aadhya lives alone in Mumbai, and lost a sister last year. The nearest family lives a long flight away. Aadhya loves gardening, and would enjoy someone to chat with. An hour a week, perhaps on Monday afternoon, would mean the world. We can also arrange a phone call if you can't visit in person. All visitors will be introduced by me and I'll be there at the first meeting. I'll share references and, if you'd like, a short orientation from the local befriending charity. No special skills are needed - just kindness and patience. I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
