A weekly ride to the Johannesburg Kidney Centre for Lucky
A rota of drivers to the Johannesburg Kidney Centre would keep Lucky on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Lucky has been on dialysis for 3 years and until recently drove to the Johannesburg Kidney Centre alone. After a minor stroke, Lucky can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 24 km each way.
Lucky is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
