A rota of drivers to Ottawa Regional Medical Center would keep Owen on treatment. Even one trip a week helps.

Owen has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Ottawa Regional Medical Center alone. After surgery on their hand, Owen can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 15 km each way.
Owen is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
