A weekly ride to Dhaka Regional Medical Center for Sumaiya
Sumaiya needs dialysis three times a week and has lost the ability to drive; volunteer drivers can each take one day.

Sumaiya has been on dialysis for 4 years and until recently drove to Dhaka Regional Medical Center alone. After an eyesight problem, Sumaiya can no longer drive. Taxis cost more than the family can pay three times a week.
We're building a rota of volunteer drivers. Each session is 4 hours, including the trip there and back; most volunteers take one regular day. The journey is about 14 km each way.
Sumaiya is cheerful company. You'd need a car in good condition and a clean driving record. We'll cover your fuel costs, and the family will send you home with homemade food.
Please say which day works for you in the comments.
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

Wishing you peace. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to Rockford so I could bring a meal. God bless.
