A weekly phone friend for Imran, recovering at home after a long hospital stay
Imran is housebound after a long hospital stay and is looking for a friendly, patient person for a weekly call.

After a long hospital stay, I have been mostly housebound for 8 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like podcasts, football and cooking, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

Thinking of you and your family, Imran. Shared this with my family. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected

Wishing you the best, Imran. This could happen to any of us. After 24 years in logistics I know how hard it's to ask for anything. Thinking of Lahore.
look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I went through something like this 11 years ago and strangers helped me out. All the best.
Rooting for you, Imran. Looking forward to the next update. Take care!
