After a stroke, I have been mostly housebound for 4 weeks. My family live far away, and the days can feel very long. I'm not looking for therapy - I've that covered - but for conversation.
I'm hoping for someone who can call for about 30 minutes once a week whenever suits us both. I like music, books and gardening, and can listen to anything.
This can be from anywhere in the world as long as you speak English. We can arrange the calls through the platform, with email shared only when we're both comfortable.
Thanks for even thinking about it.
Glad we found this place.

Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Blessings
Hang in there, Helena. I hope things turn around soon
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double. Greetings from Warangal.
Keep going, Helena. Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. Greetings from Arusha.
Hope the doctors have good news. Sent it to 23 people at work. Take care
Wishing you the best, Helena. Hope the doctors have good news. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. Blessings.
So sorry you're going through this, Helena. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did.
